Aus 276 | Scorecard

Rahane gears up to sweep Lyon before deciding last minute to block it back to the bowler. Two balls later, he sweep it to deep square leg to take the score to 140 and stretch the lead above the 50-run mark.

Two more singles as Rahane and Pujara slowly but steadily look to build the partnership.

Lyon gets the ball to bounce steeply as Pujar rocks back and is hit on the gloves but the ball lands safely on the pitch.

Hazlewood drops short and Rahane rocks back and smashes it square on the off-side for a four before he takes a single.

Starc comes into the attack, replacing Hazlewood. Rahane turns the third ball on the leg side for a single and Pujara picks one off the last ball on the off-side.

Another bowling from the other end as O'Keefe is called into the attack. Rahane is stuck on the pads but the inside edge saves him before he defends the rest of the over.

Starc bowls it on the pads as Pujara flicks it fine on the leg side to bring up India's 150, in the 49th over. The next ball also slips down the leg side which Rahane clips square and picks up two runs.

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh comes into the attack in place of Starc. A full delivery which keeps a bit low hits Pujara on the pads but the LBW decision is turned down with the ball sliding down the leg side.

O'Keefe gets some turn as he beats Pujara, who comes forward to defend. He looks to turn the next ball on the leg side as Pujara gets an inside edge off his pads on the leg side for a single.

Pujara clips Marsh square on the leg side for a single to bring up fifty, from 125 balls. A superb knock under pressure on a difficult wicket from the Indian right-hander as India look to build the lead.

Rahane taps the next ball on the off-side and steals a quick single as India reach 159 for four in 55 overs, for an overall lead of 72 runs.
