STUMPS - DAY 3

India 213-4 (72 ovs) & 189 vs
Aus 276 | Scorecard

Around 10 mins left for stumps as Australia bring back Starc to break this partnership before the end of play.

Rahane is watchful as ever as he defends the first five balls and keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Rahane looks like he has shut shop as he looks to block everything against O'Keefe. He goes chasing at one which turns but luckily he hasn't edged it before he watchfully defends the rest of the over.

O'Keefe rushes through his over which enables Australia to sneak in another over before stumps are taken.

Pujara was not so keen to play that last over but now he has to face Starc. He edges the first ball which goes past Smith in the slips for a four. Starc bowling from round the wicket and looking to angle it into the right-hander.

Interestingly, Australia have placed a fielder under the helmet at short second slip. Starc bowls it on the pads as Pujara flicks it on the leg side for a single before Rahane defends the last ball.

For the first time in the series, a session goes wicketless as India go into stumps at 213 for four in 72 overs, for an overall lead of 126 runs.
