Aus 157-4 (73 ovs) & 451 vs India 603-9d | Scorecard

India need a good spell of 30 minutes after the tea interval where they need to take around 3-4 wickets to stand any chance of pushing for a win.

Ashwin starts off proceeding after the tea break. Marsh is beaten by one which turns enough to beat the bat as he plays forward but is able to drag his feet back in time and survives a possible stumping chance.

He gets one to bounce and turn as Marsh is beaten again and Saha does well to collect it high as Ashwin bowls an excellent over first up.

Umesh has a huge appeal for LBW turned down against Handscomb as he plays back to one which comes in sharply. The umpire turns down the appeal as India take the DRS but the ball is clipping the bails which means the decision stays with the umpire's call.

Meanwhile, former India captain and local boy Mahendra Singh Dhoni has made his way to the JSCA stadium to witness the action.

Umesh bowls another quick yorker which Handscomb plays right back to but in the end manages to bring his bat down in time and gets a single on the leg side.

Jadeja comes back as Ashwin bowls just two overs after the tea break. Marsh gets a leg bye to level the scores.

Marsh flicks Umesh through square leg for a four to give Australia the lead.

Australia are 157 for four in 73 overs with India having a minimum of 25 overs to claiming the remaining six wickets and force a result.
