TEA - DAY 5

Aus 133-4 (60 ovs) & 451 vs India 603-9d | Scorecard

An outstanding session for Australia and they have to thank Marsh and Handscomb for showing great resolve and temperament to keep the Indian bowlers at bay for the last couple of hours.

The duo have so far added 85 runs for the fifth wicket but importantly played out 40 overs as Australia denied any wickets in the post-lunch session.

Marsh looked in good touch right from the start, scoring 38 from 127 balls, while Handscomb made was solid on 44 from 115 balls.

At tea on the final day, Australia reached 149 for four in 69 overs, trailing India by just three runs.

India have to pick up wickets quickly after the tea break or else the match looks to be slowly inching towards a draw.
