Smith and Renshaw perish, Australia in trouble
March 20, 2017  11:09

Aus 63-4 (30 ovs) & 451 vs India 603-9d | Scorecard

Jadeja strikes with the most important wicket for India, that of Australia captain Smith, who lets one go pitched on leg stump only to see it spin past his pads and crash into the stumps.

That was poor judgement from Smith as he looks to pad it but failed to get to the pitch of the ball which spun big from the rough. That wicket leaves Australia in trouble on 63 for four, with still another 89 runs needed to avoid the innings defeat.

Smith made 21 from 68 balls as India adopted a defensive approach him and his dismissal will certainly give the hosts a big lift in their push for victory.

Two big wickets, that of Renshaw and Smith in the space of four deliveries, as Australia are reduced to 63 for four in 30 overs.
