Sunrisers 61-1 (10 ovs) vs KKR | Scorecard

Sunil Narine comes into the attack to bowl the sixth over. He starts with three dot balls to Kane Williamson before Sunrisers pick just three singles from the last three balls.

The defending champions have struggled in the Powerplay, managing just 30 runs in six overs with Warner on 15 from as many balls and Williamson on three.

Interesting that KKR bring in part-time spinner Yusuf Pathan ahead of specialist pace bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile.

Williamson makes room before he drives Yusuf through the covers for a four to get seven from the over.

Coulter-Nile comes in from the other end. He missed a few matches after being struck on the helmet by a bouncer but he makes a superb start with the ball, conceding just two singles as Williamson plays four dot balls in a row.

Just 19 runs from the last five overs as KKR continue to build the pressure with some disciplined bowling.

Leg-spinner Piyush Chawla comes into the attack. He bowls a long hop as Warner pulls the second ball over midwicket for a six to bring up 4000 runs in the IPL from 114 matches becoming the first overseas player and fifth overall to go past the landmark.

Chawla makes a good comeback after that six as he ends up giving away just nine from his first over.

The wicket is not easy for batting and Sunrisers will need something special to break free against this disciplined bowling by KKR.

Williamson walks across his stumps and flicks Coulter-Nile over midwicket for a four. The next ball is a bit short as Williamson again goes across and pulls it over square leg for a six.

Warner has got bogged down considerably. He misses out on a full toss as he is unable to beat the fielder at midwicket and then pulls the next ball to long-on for one.

Sunrisers are 61 for one in 10 overs, with Warner on 27 and Williamson on 22.
