NZ 21-0 (3 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to open the bowling for India and facing him is Martin Guptill, who has struggled through the tour and was lucky to retain his place as the impressive Tom Latham was dropped.

Guptill defends the first two balls before he swings the pacer over the leg side for a four to get off the mark.

Bhuvi then bowls a wide as five runs come from the first over.

Debutant Siraj to bowl the second over. He starts with a short wide delivery which Colin Munro smashes through the off-side for a cracking boundary.

He chips down the track but can only hit the next ball on the bounce to deep square leg for one.

Guptill looking to be positive the start as he makes some room and punches Siraj down the ground past mid-off for another boundary. However, he can't get the full toss away as he flicks it straight to midwicket followed by a single of the last ball as Siraj goes for 10 in his first over in international cricket.

The fielder at thirdman and fine leg have come inside the circle for Guptill, who is looking to hit a few boundaries early on.

Bhuvneshwar keeps him guessing with good change of pace, as he bowls the knuckle ball and then gives away a wide trying another slower ball.

Guptill then picks one on the off-side before Munro ducks under a bouncer. He repeats the bouncer but this time Munro pulls it awkwardly behind square for a four as NZ reach 21 for no loss in three overs.
