India 172-4 (35 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Munro continues as he gives away just four runs in his second over. New batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni gets off the mark with two runs through the off-side and then takes one off the last ball.

Four runs in Southee's next over takes India past the 150-run mark, in the 32nd over. They would ideally like to add another 150 runs in the next 18 overs but they will need to preserve their wickets for the same and ensure that Kohli bats right till the end.

Boult comes back as New Zealand keep attacking from one end. He bowls a tidy over giving away four runs including a wide as India reach 157 for four in 32 overs at the drinks break.

Santner also comes back, from the other end and he also keeps things tight by giving away just two in his sixth over.

In the next over, Kohli flicks Boult through square leg for two runs and then gets one. The pacer then bowls a short wide delivery which Dhoni cuts past point for his first four and takes a single from the last ball to get nine from the over.

Four singles from Santner's next over as India reach 172 for four in 35 overs with Kohli on 70 and Dhoni on 15.
