NZ 128-3 (27 ovs) vs India 280-8 | Scorecard

Latham and Taylor looking to milk the singles around and keep the runs coming without taking much of a risk.

Five runs in back to back overs off Chahal and Kuldeep before the former concedes three in the next as New Zealand reach 117 for three in 25 overs at the halfway stage.

Kuldeep nearly does Taylor in with the googly as it takes the edge but Dhoni goes the wrong way as the ball flies past the keeper for a four fine on the off-side.

Latham edges the last ball as it goes to thirdman for one to get seven from the over.

Chahal, who bowled five overs for 19 runs, is taken off as he makes way for Pandya, who also bowled a good first spell of five overs.

He continues to bowl tight as he concedes just four runs in his sixth over with Taylor and Latham picking up two singles each.

New Zealand are 128 for three in 27 overs, with Taylor on 31 and Latham on 27. They need another 153 runs from 23 overs for victory at an asking rate of more than six.
