NZ 64-2 (13 ovs) vs India 280-8 | Scorecard

At the end of 10 overs of Powerplay, India immediately bring in left-arm chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

Williamson takes a single from the first ball to get off the mark before Guptill attempts the sweep two balls later and gets one.

Williamson takes another run before Guptill is struck on the pads and the LBW appeal is upheld by the umpire.

Guptill immediately decides to take the DRS and rightly so as he got a big inside edge on that and the decision is reversed.

Hardik Pandya comes into the attack and concedes five runs in his first over, including four singles and a leg bye.

After nearly picking up a wicket in his first over, Kuldeep strikes in his second over.

He claims the key wicket of New Zealand captain Williamson, who is caught by Jadhav for six. Williamson tries to drive a full delivery through the off-side but is done in by the wrong one as he ends up hitting it straight to the fielder in the covers.

Ross Taylor starts off with a paddle sweep fine on the leg side for two runs.

Taylor is struck on the pads off the next ball as he is deceived by the googly and the Indians go up in appeal but the umpire is unmoved. Kohli and Dhoni discuss with the bowler before deciding not to take the DRS.
