NZ 191-8 (44 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

De Grandhomme clips Bumrah's full delivery on the leg side for one before Mitchell Santner defends the rest of the over as just one comes from it.

Bhuvneshwar continues to bowl well as he gives away just two singles as New Zealand reach 168 for six in 40 overs with de Grandhomme on 37 from 35 balls and Santner on one.

Chahal comes back as he manages to bowl a quiet over, giving away three runs in his seventh.

But Axar goes for runs as Santner goes after him, cutting the first ball past point for a four and playing a slog sweep three balls later for a six to get 12 from the over.

Chahal makes the breakthrough with the key wicket of de Grandhomme, who gets a thick outside edge and is caught at short thirdman after scoring 41 from 40 balls.

He strikes again off the next ball as new batsman Adam Milne plays from the crease but is struck on the pads. The umpire immediately gives it out leg before wicket but the batsman decides to take the review.

But the decision stays as the impact is on line and the ball is going to hit the middle of middle stump as NZ lose their eighth wicket.

New Zealand on a hat-trick but Tim Southee taps the ball to long-off for one to avoid it.

An excellent over from Chahal, conceding just three runs and also manages to pick up two wickets.
