India 83-2 (14 ovs) vs NZ 230-9 | Scorecard

Dhawan steers a wide delivery from Milne past the point fielder for two runs before he survives a shout for leg before wicket with the ball clearly slipping down the leg side.

In the next over, Kohli survives a leg before shout as Santner foxes him with the quicker delivery which goes straight on and strikes him on the pads.

Maybe the ball was slipping down the leg side which saved the Indian captain who goes off strike with one.

Milne bowls another tight over as New Zealand look to fight back with a few tight overs, conceding just eight runs from the last three overs.

Medium pacer Colin de Grandhomme comes into the attack in place of Santner, who bowled just two overs for eight runs in his first spell.

He bowls a short wide delivery which Dhawan slaps past point for a four and then takes a single.

But against the run of play, New Zealand strike with the key wicket of Kohli, who is caught behind for a quick 29 from as many balls.

Dinesh Karthik gets off the mark with a boundary, as he steers the last ball of the over from de Grandhomme fine on the off-side for a four.
