NZ 76-4 (20 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Latham will hold the key to New Zealand's fortunes in this game. He sweeps Jadhav for a single fine on the leg side before Henry Nicholls defends the next three balls.

However, he tries a new action as he bowls over arm as against bowling with a round arm action and drops short which Nicholls hammers through the covers for a four to get off the mark.

Pandya tries another short ball but it goes down the leg side and Latham helps it round the corner for a four through fine leg.

He tries another short ball, this time quicker as Latham gets an inside edge but away from the stumps. Another bouncer but it is called a wide this time and he turns the next ball on the leg side for one and Nicholls picks one from the last ball.

Jadhav continues to keep things tight as he gives away just three runs in the next over, including a wide, for a total of just 15 runs from his five overs.

A change in the bowling as left-arm spinner Axar Patel comes into the attack in place of Pandya, who took one for 23 in four overs.

Latham drives the second ball through the covers for one and Nicholls clips the fifth ball to deep midwicket for one and the former picks a single from the last ball.

New Zealand have reached 76 for four in 20 overs with Latham on 20 and Nicholls on seven.
