Star, Sony, Facebook among 14 bidders for IPL media rights

The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators members Diana Edulji along BCCI acting president CK Khanna, acting secretary, Amitabh Choudhary, acting treasurer Anirudh Choudhary, BCCI CEO Rahul Johri along with the BCCI's legal experts are evaluating the 14 bids received.

As stated earlier, 14 bids have been received for the IPL media rights, including broadcast and digital.

The companies who have bid include Star India, Facebook, Reliance Jio and Sony Pictures among others.

The IPL global broadcast and digital rights are for a period of five years from 2018 to 2022.
