CSK 169-9 (19.5 ovs) vs MI 165-4 (20 ovs) vs Scorecard

CSK beat Mumbai Indians by 1 wicket in a thrilling encounter in the opening match of IPL season XI.

It looked like CSK were staring down the barrel as they lost wickets in clumps in the middle overs.

But Dwayne Bravo kept CSK in the hunt till the end, his lusty batting in the 19th over, taking 20 runs off Bumrah.

He was dismissed off the last ball of that 19th over and it was eventually Kedar Jadhav who completed the job with a six and a four.

Mustafizur comes in to bowl the last over as Jadhav comes back to bat.

The first ball is a slower one. No run.

Another two dot balls as Jadhav cannot penetrate the field. 7 off 3 balls needed now.

WOW! Jadhav hits a six over fine leg! The scores are tied with 2 balls to go.

Jadhav then just blasts the ball past the covers for a four. CSK beat MI by 1 wicket.

Wow! Bravo has brought this game close. Now CSK need 7 runs from the last over.

Death-bowling specialist Bumrah brought back into the attack.

And Bravo picks him up for 2 delicious sixes off the first two balls of the over.

Bravo then plays the ball to third man and he runs like a hare.

A dot ball and then Bravo just hammers the low full toss for a another 6.

He is now gone! He is not in control of the ball and is caught by Rohit. He is gone for 68 off 30.
