Chennai Super Kings have a new opening pair out in the middle as Murali Vijay walks out to open with Shane Watson.

Barinder Sran will open the bowling for Kings XI Punjab. He starts with a poor delivery down the leg side, as wicketkeeper Rahul is unable to stop it, to give away three wides.

Watson gets off the mark with a single before Vijay picks up a leg bye followed by three more singles, to pick up nine from the first over.

Mohit Sharma will operate from the other end. He gives Watson some width, which the Australian hits over point for a four and then steers the next fine on the off-side for the same result.

Mohit foxes the veteran Australian with the slower ball as Watson looks to turn it on the leg side but gets a top edge and is caught at fine leg for 11.
