England 321-6 (75 ovs) vs India 107 | Scorecard

It is proving to be quite easy for the two England batsmen with nothing much happening for the Indian bowlers.

Ashwin is picked for three singles off his 16th over, he has conceded 64 runs so far at over four per over.

And to add to India's grief is that captain Virat Kohli is battling a stiff back and time and again is going off the field for some treatment.

The partnership between Woakes and Bairstow is 176 at the moment, the highest sixth wicket stand for England against India in Tests.

Ashwin is taken off as left-arm spinner Kuldeep comes into the attack. Bairstow leans forward to defend and is beaten but the leg before shout is turned down by the googly which comes in.

The impact looks outside the line of off-stump but India want to take the review, with the 80-over mark fast approaching.

And as expected the impact is outside the line and the decision stands, with India losing their second and final review.

Sourav Ganguly is unhappy with Kohli's captaincy, especially his field placing.

'The bowler must go up to the captain and tell him to put some fielders close to the bat in catching positions.

"Virat Kohli is letting the game drift," says Dada.

Bairstow was stuck in the 90s for a long time and he misses out a well deserved century. He throws his bat at a wide delivery from Pandya only to get an edge and wicketkeeper Karthik takes a superb diving catch to his right.

Bairstow walks back for 93, after putting on 189 runs for the sixth wicket with Woakes, who has hit a century. Their partnership has put England firmly control as they stretch their lead to 213 runs.
