Shami comes back into the attack. He starts his second spell with a loose delivery as Pope slashes it point for a four but the next ball is pitched up and moves away enough to beat the right-hander.

The next ball is in the slot as Pope again looks to drive without moving his feet and is beaten again.

He then makes contact playing the cover drive but the fielder half stops it to give away a single.

Pandya drifts on the pads as Pope clips it through square leg for two runs. But the medium pacer gets his line right off the next, getting it to come in sharply from outside the off-stump. Pope is stuck on the crease and hit on the pads as the umpire accepts the appeal for leg before wicket but the batsman decides to review.

England lose their second and final review as early as the 22nd over of the innings as the impact is line with the ball going on hit the leg stump

Pope out for a brisk 28 as he made a bright start but failed to carry with England reduced to 77 for three.

Pandya nearly does in for new batsman Jonny Bairstow who is opened up and is lucky that he got the edge which saves him for a potential leg before call.

The last ball is wide as Bairstow goes fishing and is beaten to end a superb over from Pandya.
