England 28-1 (8 ovs) vs India 107 | Scorecard

Struggling with his line against the two left-handers, Ishant switches to round the wicket.

The first fours are wide of the off-stump and Cook is happy to offer no shot before he blocks the next two balls watchfully on the off-side.

In the next over, Jennings taps Shami on the off-side and takes a quick run before Cook sees off the rest of the over.

Unlike the England bowlers, who were making the ball talk on Day 2, the Indian fast bowlers are not getting any help with the new ball.

Ishant drifts wide as Jennings steers it past the slips for three runs as Hardik Pandya comes up with the slide to save the boundary.

Cook then slaps a full delivery straight back past the fast bowler for another four.

Ishant gets it right off the last ball as Cook chases a wide delivery and is beaten by some away movement.

Shami makes the first breakthrough to lift the Indians with the wicket of Jennings, who is given out leg before wicket for 11.

He has a chat with his partner Cook before he decides to review. Jennings played all over a full incoming delivery but missed as the impact was in line and was going on to hit leg stump.

England lose their first review and also their first wicket of the innings.
