Broad beats Ashwin with the inswinger as he gets the inside edge before the right-hander clips the next ball using his wrists to good effect for a boundary through midwicket.

Two balls later, he makes most of some width as he steers Broad past the slips for three runs.

Broad tries the full inswinger again but this time Pandya is up to the task as he clips it through midwicket for another boundary.

Curran bowls a maiden over to Ashwin before Broad gets Pandya to edge one in the next over but it goes past the slips for a four. The incoming delivery then gets the better of Pandya as he is hit high on the pads before he chases a wide one and is beaten.

Curran drifts on the pads as Ashwin tries the glances but misses and picks up four byes. He then slashes at a wide delivery which flies uppishly past point for a boundary.

Pandya looking a bit more comfortable than some of his other team mates earlier in the day. A full delivery on the stumps by Broad is punched down the ground with a straight by Pandya for a boundary to take his score to 20, the only Indian batsmen to reach the 20-run mark in this innings.

That boundary also helps India cross the 100-run mark in their second innings, in the 39th over.
