Curran drives Ishant to mid-off for a single before Woakes get a thick outside edge which flies past the slips for a four.

He gets the next ball off the middle as he steers a wide ball square on the off-side for a boundary before keeping strike with a single from the last ball.

A single each to Woakes and Curran before the former is beaten yet again by Shami.

Woakes has had a few problems against Shami, who beats him yet again outside the off-stump. The fast bowler must be thinking what more he needs to find the edge.

Ishant tries a short as Curran plays a stylish pull shot with Viay at mid-on half stopping it to keep it down to two runs.

England have been able to maintain a good run rate throughout as their lead inches towards the 300-run mark.

Curran makes room and slashes Shami through the point region for a four. An angry Shami tries a short ball as the England left-hander clubs it over square leg for a six with a strange pull short.

Curran going for his shots and it looks like England might declare soon and take advantage of the overhead conditions.

Woakes also going for his shots. He looks for a big drive through the off-side but gets a thick outside edge for a boundary over the slips for a four and the next ball is carved over the off-side for two more runs as 17 runs come from the over.
