The two experienced batsmen -- Rahane and Pujara -- have settled down well and are looking to take singles and keep the scoreboard ticking along.

They easily collect three singles from the 18th over bowled by Woakes.

Pujara has spent considerable time at the wicket, scoring 10 from 57 balls so far, while Rahane is on 13 from 27 balls.

Broad beats Rahane with one that moves away a lot before he strikes with the next ball to get the Indian vice-captain dismissed in the slips for 13.

Rahane chases a wide full delivery and this time he gets the edge to perish cheaply as India are reduced to 35 for three in 19 overs.
