India 270-3 (89 ovs) & 329 vs Eng 161 | Scorecard

Virat Kohli closed in on his second century of the series to swell India's lead on Day 3 of the third Test, on Monday.

Kohli was unbeaten on 93 to lift India to 270 for three in 89 overs at the tea interval, to stretch their overall lead to 438 runs.

Kohli extended India's lead on the third day in the company of Cheteshwar Pujara, who made a solid 72, as the duo put on 113 runs for the third wicket.

Pujara is the only Indian wicket to fall on the third day so far, as he was caught in the slips off Ben Stokes, who claimed two wickets.

With two full days and a session left in the match, India would no doubt continue to bat after the tea break and score as many as possible.
