Eng 235-6 (83 ovs); Target to win: 521 | Scorecard

India waste no time in taking the second new ball as Bumrah is called back into the attack.

Buttler goes for the cover drive but is not in total control as it goes uppishly but falls short of the fielder at mid-off.

Bumrah gets one to come in sharply and Buttler offers no shot, leaving it on length as he watches the ball sail over the stumps.

Pandya will share the second new ball, ahead of Ishant Sharma, who bowled a cracking spell with the first new ball.

He starts with a poor delivery on the pads as Stokes clips it behind square and has to dive at the end to complete a tight second run.

Stokes taps the third ball on the off-side for one before Pandya gets one to jag in as Buttler is hit on the pads and the ball goes away fine for four leg byes.

Bumrah makes the much-needed breakthrough for India with the wicket of Buttler, who is given out leg before wicket for 106. He decides to leave a delivery but is done in by Bumrah, who gets it to jag back sharply and strike the pads.

Buttler decides to take the review but ends up losing it as he walks back after a splendid knock, hitting 21 fours in his 176-ball knock.

Buttler and Stokes kept the Indian bowlers at bay, adding 169 runs for the fifth wicket.

The injured Jonny Bairstow walks out at No. 7 with a fractured finger but he lasts just one delivery as Bumrah bowls him with a beauty, which moves away late to strike the off-stump. That was a special delivery from the young fast bowler and Bairstow could not do much.

Bumrah on a hat-trick but Chris Woakes manages to avoid it as he clips a full delivery through midwicket for a four.
