The new ball has worked for India. Pandya strikes with the wicket of Stokes, who gets an outside edge and is caught by Rahul at second slip after a patient vigil of 62 from 187 balls.

Pandya got the ball to move away from the left-hander, who was looking to turn it on the leg side but only managed the edge and Rahul completed another sharp catch.

Bumrah continues his wicket way as Adil Rashid plays away from his body only to get an edge and is caught in the slips for two.

The umpires check the front foot before deciding that it is a no-ball denying Bumrah his fifth wicket.

Bumrah gets the next ball to jag in sharply as Rashid is hit on the thigh pads and the ball races away fine on the leg side for four leg byes.

He then drops short and offers width as Rashid slaps it through the covers for a four.
