England 116-6 (40 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

India have a good chance of bowling out England around the 120-run mark but they will need to be wary of Curran, who played a couple of good knocks with the bat in the first two Tests.

He slaps a wide delivery from Ishant through the off-side for a couple of runs.

The first hour of the post-lunch session has again been dominated by India's pacers as they continued to chip away at the wickets.

Shami in the midst of an excellent spell as the ball to nip away enough to beat the hanging bat of Moeen, and the pacer does it again a few deliveries later. The last ball comes in as Moeen leaves it and it passes very close to the stumps. Top stuff from the India fast bowler.

Pandya replaces Ishant as Curran flays a wide delivery through the covers for three runs. Moeen gets a thick outside edge off the next ball as it goes past the gully region for another three runs.

In the next over, Shami drops short and also wide as Moeen slaps it through point for two runs. Two balls later, he runs the ball with soft hands past the slips for a four to take England past the 100-run mark, in the 39th over.

Sam Curran looks to counter-attack as he goes after Pandya. The first ball is short and wide as Curran smashes it through point for a four and hits the next through mid-off for another boundary.

Pandya again bowls it wide as Curran slashes it through point for two runs as Jadeja does well on the boundary with the slide.

Pandya then oversteps and also sends down a half-tracker as Curran again slashes it past point for a four.

15 runs from the over takes England to 116 for six in 40 overs with Curran racing to 20 from 19 balls.
