England 168-7 (60 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Shami bowls a beauty to Curran, bounce and extra movement as the left-hander is beaten all ends up.

In the next over, Curran is beaten by Ashwin as the ball goes the other way. The leg before appeal is turned down and India decide to take the DRS.

The impact is in line but the ball is clipping the outside of the leg stump which means the decision stays with the umpire's call as Curran survives a close shout.

Shami gets one to come in sharply to Moeen, but it slips way down the leg side and goes for four byes despite a big dive from wicketkeeper Pant.

The two batsmen have settled down quite nicely as the ball, which is nearly 60 overs old, is not doing as much as it was in the first two sessions.

Ashwin drops short as Curran rocks back and cuts it behind point for a four and then takes a single.

Ishant replaces Shami as Curran defends the first two balls before he slaps a wide delivery through point two runs. The last ball is way down the leg side as Pant is beaten yet again for another four byes to England.

Ashwin makes the breakthrough in his next over as Moeen top edges the slog sweep and is caught on the leg side by Bumrah.

Moeen went for the big slog sweep but the length was a bit short and he ended up getting a top edge and Bumrah did well to swoop in from midwicket and complete a good catch.

Moeen played a handy innings of 40, putting on 81 runs for the seventh wicket with Curran, to thwart the Indians and add some respectability to the England score after they were reeling at 86 for six at one stage.

Curran survives a huge shout for leg before off the next ball before he takes a single and Adil Rashid blocks the last ball.
