England 179-8 (65 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Curran is proving to be a tough nut to crack with the bat. He is looking quite comfortable out in the middle as he easily clips Ishant on the leg side for a single.

Rashid also clips Ishant off his pads but Dhawan does well with the slide at deep square leg to keep it down to two runs. He is hit on the pads by the last ball but the umpire is not interested in the leg before appeal.

In the next over, Curran attempts to heave Ashwin over the leg side but fails to time it properly before he hits the next into the covers for one.

Another couple of singles off Ishant in the next over before Bumrah is called into the attack from the other end, to replace Ashwin.

He immediately gets one to bounce from length as Rashid is hit high on the bat trying to turn it on the leg side and takes a single. Curran is watchful against the Indian fast bowler, who has bowled quite a testing spell so far.

Rashid glances Ishant fine on the leg side for a couple before he is beaten by one which moves away late and narrowly misses the off-stump.

Ishant then gets Rashid leg before wicket as the right-hander looks to play across the line and he is given out by the umpire. England don't have any reviews left which means he has to make his way back.

Stuart Broad gets off the mark with a single before Curran also takes one as he looks to take most of the strike.
