England 87-6 (35 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Stokes has looked quite solid with his defence. He comes down the track to Shami and plays a powerful drive down the pitch as the pacer gets his hand to it and ends up injuring his right hand. Stokes again takes a couple of steps down and taps Ishant on the off-side for a single. Moeen turns the next ball behind square as substitute Hanuma Vihari swoops on the ball quickly from fine leg to keep it down to a single.

Shami bowling in a beautiful channel as Moeen is beaten again, trying a tentative poke before he takes a single.

Shami then gets one to come in sharply as Stokes is struck on the pads and is given out leg before wicket. He decides to take the DRS but the ball has struck in line and going on to hit the stumps as Stokes has to make his way back for 23.

Sam Curran gets off the mark with a single on the off-side before Moeen ducks under a bounce.
