India 131-2 (38 ovs) vs England 246 | Scorecard

Broad gives Pujara some width as the right-hander slashes the short ball over the slips for a four, getting a thick edge in his attempt to cut it square.

He is beaten off the next ball as Broad pitches it up and close to the stumps, tempting Pujara into the drive, who plays and misses.

The last ball is again a bit short as Pujara rocks back and slashes it past point for the second four of the over.

In the next over, Moeen bowls it a bit wide trying to target the rough areas outside the right-hander's off-stump as Kohli slaps it to sweeper cover for one.

Pujara comes down and hits the next ball straight back to the bowler on the bounce before he picks a single to mid-on and Kohli does the same next ball.

Kohli looking in ominous touch as far as England are concerned. Broad bowls it right up and Kohli merely pushes it straight back as the ball speeds past the bowler and mid-on and races away for a four.

Broad comes back strongly as he tempts Kohli into the poke with the angle and it moves away enough to narrowly miss the edge. He produces another beauty next ball, this time much closer to the stumps as Kohli looks to defend and is beaten again!

Pujara threatening to chip down the track every time to Moeen, who is forced to shorten his length, and cannot target the rough.

A slightly short ball is clipped through fine leg for a couple by Pujara before he takes one to advance his score to 41.

Kohli stretches forward to defend but gets a thick outside edge which goes in the gap between the wicketkeeper and slips for a four. Wicketkeeper Buttler was going the wrong way, as he was moving towards leg stump and was nowhere near to taking the catch.

He turns the last ball fine on the leg side for three runs to make it 10 runs from the over.

Broad drifts down the leg side as Kohli clips it square for a couple and then picks a single off the fifth ball.

India have made good progress after lunch to take their score to 131 for two in 38 overs, trailing England by 115 runs.
