Aus 45-2 (17 ovs); Target to win: 323 | Scorecard

Shami bowls a quick inswinger to Khawaja who nearly inside edges it back on to his stumps but he manages to kick it away.

The next ball is short as the left-hander is hit on the body trying to block it. He drives the last ball straight down the ground for three runs.

In the next over, Khawaja tries to paddle sweep Ashwin but fails to make connection.

Shami gets his man finally as Harris goes after a wide delivery only to get the edge and is caught behind for 26. He was dropped in the first over of the session but this time wicketkeeper Pant makes no mistake.

Australia in a spot of bother on 44 for two, with another 279 runs needed for victory.

Shaun Marsh, who is going through a poor run in Tests, gets another chance to get back among the runs. However, his record in the fourth innings is not so inspiring having never posted a half-century, with a highest of 49.

He gets off the mark with a quick single on the off-side.
