A surprise move from India as Parthiv Patel is sent in at No. 5 ahead of Rohit Sharma.

Ngidi on fire at the moment. He hits Parthiv Patel on the ribs with a fast bouncer which he tries to defend but misses and suffers a painful blow on the body.

The next ball is again short but this time it doesn't rise as much but Parthiv manages to keep it out.

Pujara is beaten by a beauty from Morkel but there is no appeal and interestingly, the UltraEdge shows there might have a faint edge on that one.

And sensibly before Ngidi's next over Parthiv calls for the chest guard. He tries a short ball which goes down the leg side as Parthiv misses the flick and wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock appeals for a catch down the leg side.

Parthiv not willing to venture out of his crease, waiting on the backfoot and Ngidi pitches it right up and beats the left-hander with one that moves away.

The last ball is again full and this time Parthiv drives it through the covers for two runs.

Pujara has defended quite well and kept the pacers at bay. Morkel gets it too straight as Pujara clips it through square leg for two runs and then solidly defends the rest of the over.

Parthiv steers Ngidi past the slips for a couple before he somehow defends the rest of the over.

Spinner Keshav Maharaj to bowl the final over of the day. Pujara takes a single from the first ball before Parthiv watchfully blocks the remaining five deliveries to end the fourth day's play.
