Kuldeep Yadav starred with the ball for India with his maiden five-wicket haul to restrict England to 159 for eight in the first T20 International in Manchester on Tuesday.

Kuldeep claimed career-best figures of five for 24 in four overs, including three wickets in a single over, to lead India's superb fightback after Jason Roy and Jos Buttler had given England a quickfire start.

Buttler, who stroked 69 from 46 balls, put on 50 runs from just five overs for the opening wicket with Roy, who slammed 30 from 20 balls.

Kuldeep sent England tumbling in the middle overs as England lost eight wickets for 64 runs in the last nine overs.
