England 113-2 (17 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Umesh, who bowled just two overs with the new ball, comes back for his second spell.

He also sends down a quiet over, giving away just three singles in his third over.

In his next over, Kuldeep drops short as Roy hammers it through the covers for a four and then takes one.

England will have to be positive against Kuldeep and not let him take control in the middle overs.

Root flicks Umesh through midwicket for two runs and then mishits the pull but for another couple.

Kuldeep strikes again in his third over as Roy is caught at deep midwicket after scoring 40 from 42 balls. He went for the slogs sweep but hit it straight at Umesh on the boundary as England are reduced to 86 for two, in the 15th over.

Kuldeep has wonderful figures of two for 11 in three overs as he once again threatens to run through the England batting line-up.

Umesh goes for runs in the next over. A full delivery is clipped through midwicket by Root before Morgan inside edges the fifth ball which goes for a four fine on the leg side.

The next ball is on the pads as Morgan clips it square for the third four of the over as England cross the 100-run mark, in the 16th over.

The flow of boundaries continue for England as Kuldeep gifts Root a full toss which he times nicely through the covers for a four.

Two balls later, Morgan sweeps the spinner through square leg for another boundary, the fifth four in the last eight balls, as England look to attack Kuldeep and disrupt his rhythm.

Morgan then lofts Kuldeep over the off-side but can't time it that well for two runs followed by a quick single to mid-on.
