England 185-2 (30 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Morgan gets the boundary as he sweeps Raina over short fine leg for a four, the first after a wait of nearly four overs.

Two balls later, Root late cuts a wide delivery fine on the off-side for another four as Raina goes for 12 in his second over.

In the next over, Morgan chips down the track and lofts Chahal over long-on for a six followed by two singles to get eight from the over.

Desperate for a breakthrough, India bring back Kuldeep, who picked the two wickets to fall.

Root clips Kuldeep through midwicket for a couple to bring up his fifty from 56 balls, having hit four boundaries.

Root and Morgan have no problems taking five runs from Kuldeep's fifth over.

Chahal gives it flight but the line is outside the leg stump as Morgan sweeps it fine for a couple.

Two balls later he sweeps it powerfully as it goes on the bounce to Pandya at deep square leg for a single, who attacks the ball in attempt to take the catch but is unable to reach and does well to stop it.

After 30 overs, England are sitting pretty on 185 for two at scoring rate of 6.17, with Root on 54 and Morgan on 49.
