With just two wickets in hand, Nabi decides to take the attack to Ashwin. He goes for the slog sweep but miscues it on the leg side where Ishant does well to judge a catch after he looked to have misjudged it initially.
Nabi walks back for 24 as Afghanistan are reduced to 88 for nine.
The innings is nearly over as Mujeeb attempts a rash reverse sweep which he mishits on the off-side but it falls safely.
Wafadar lofts the first ball he faces in Test cricket over midwicket for a four to get off the mark in style. The next ball is swung over the same region as this time Umesh runs around and nearly pulls off a spectacular catch but is unable to hold on, running back from midwicket.
Mujeed goes on the attack against Jadeja as he clobbers the spinner over midwicket for a six to take Afghanistan past the 100-run mark.
The next ball is reverse swept square for a four and Mujeeb uses the same shot next ball but gets it much finer for another boundary.
But Jadeja gets revenge as Mujeeb comes down the track but is beaten and is stumped for 15.
