Pacer Shardul Thakur picked up four wickets to help India crush Sri Lanka by six wickets in the rain-hit fourth match of the T20 tri-series in Colombo.

Thakur claimed career-best figures of four for 27 to limit Sri Lanka to 152 for nine. The match was reduced to 19 overs following a delayed start.

With the bat, India were never really bothered despite losing a couple of early on.

Manish Pandey stroked an unbeaten 42 from 31 balls, while Dinesh Karthik slammed a quickfire 39 from 25 balls to carry India to a convincing six-wicket victory with nine balls to spare.
