DD 196-6 (17.1 ovs) vs R Royals | Scorecard

Official word coming in that that is the end of the innings.

Rajasthan now need 197 for victory.

And now the rain comes down and players walk back into the dug out along with Maxwell.

Archer comes in to bowl the last over.

Yorker and it hits Maxwell plumb on the back pad, bowler appeals, umpire gives it out.

Batsmen take the review but that is a bad one to take as Maxwell has to walk back.

The batsmen had crossed and Maxwell plays the ball to cover, some good fielding in the deep keeps it down to just 3.

Plunkett is the man and gets off the mark with a single off the 2nd ball he faces.

Good fielding by Rahane at point to keep it down to a single as 9 runs and a wicket come off the over.

Unadkat continues and Shankar then clips the ball over backward square leg for a four.

Shankar foxed by the slower one, he tries to play it over the bowler's head but only manages to play it down the throat of Tripathi at long-off.

Shankar and Maxwell are two new batters at the crease as Archer comes back into the attack.

Maxwell gets off the mark with a single and then Shankar gets off the mark with a couple.

Shankar then hits a six and a four.  15 runs come off the over.

Unadkat comes into the attack and Iyer gets a single to backward point to get to his 10th IPL fifty, his 4th this season.

Slower ball and Pant runs a single, Buttler has a go at the stumps, the ball ricochetes off it, Stoeks is nutmegged and the ball goes to the boundary. 5 runs come off that delivery.

Another slower ball, Iyer goes for the hoick, is deceived by the pace and holes out in the deep. He goes for 50 off 35 balls.

The batsmen had crossed and Pant slams the next ball over mid-wicket for a six as Maxwell is the new man in at the other end.

Next ball is a dot.

Pant gone this time. Getting a  bit ambitious, slower ball again, Pant throws the bat at it, only to send the ball high in the air and then see it fall right into Stokes's palms at long-on.

Stokes comes back into the attack and Iyer takes a single.

Pant then hits a four then gets to his half-ton in 23 balls, with a single to long on.

The batsmen then run a single and a two each and then Pant ends the over with a six over deep cover.

Kulkarni comes back into the attack and Iyer and Pant show him no mercy.

Kulkarni's extras doing him no favours as he gives away 20 runs in the over.
