No surprise as Rajasthan Royals open with spin in the form of off-spinner Krishanappa Gowtham.
Suryakumar Yadav starts off confidently as he smashes the third ball straight down the ground for a four to get off the mark. He slaps the next ball through the off-side for another boundary and then takes one.
A wide from Gowtham to Evin Lewis before the West Indian punches the last ball straight down the ground for the third four of the over.
Pace from the other end as Dhawal Kulkarni comes into the attack. Suryakumar miscues the first ball to mid-on where Gowtham dives forward but is unable to take the catch.
He smashes the net ball square on the off-side for a four before he takes one.
Lewis looks to loft the fifth ball down the ground but fails to get hold as it falls short of mid-on before he keeps strike with one from the last ball.
Pacer Jofra Archer comes into the attack as Gowtham is taken off after an expensive first over.
Archer bowls a quick bouncer on the body as Lewis fends it awkwardly and gets hit on the gloves.
He looks to loft the next ball down the ground and only manages to sky it high but Stuart Binny at mid-on puts down the catch despite having all the time to settle under it.
A wide down the leg side to Suryakumar before Archer ends the over with two dot balls.
