He starts with two dot balls before pulling the pacer for a single on the leg side.

Buttler then makes room and smashes a full delivery through the covers for a four followed by two dot balls.

Hardik makes the breakthrough with the wicket of Royals captain Rahane, who plays a poor shot to throw his wicket. He looks for the big hit down the ground but holes out to Suryakumar at long-off to perish for 37.

Sanju Samson gets off the mark with a single to fine leg before Buttler takes the attack to Hardik.

Unlike Rahane, Buttler makes good connection to club a length ball from Hardik over long-on for a six before he lofts the next ball straight for a four.

He makes room and smashes the fifth ball again over the bowler's head for a couple and keeps strike with one from the last ball as he takes his score to 68 from 42 balls.

Rajasthan are 118 for two in 14 overs, needing another 51 runs from six overs for victory.
