In the next over, Du Plessis turns Kaul on the leg side for one before Dhoni nearly drags it back on to his stumps for two runs fine on the leg side.

Kaul then drops short as Dhoni pulls it behind square on the leg side for a four and repeats the shot next ball but this time just for a single.

CSK have struggled after the early wickets, managing just 33 for three in six overs in the Powerplay.

Du Plessis has made three from six balls, while Dhoni has seven from 11 balls.

Carlos Brathwaite, who played a good hand with the bat, comes on with the ball. He starts off with a wide but ends up giving away just four runs, including a leg bye.

Leg-spinner Rashid Khan comes into the attack. He strikes in his first over with the big wicket of Dhoni, who fails to pick the googly and is bowled for 9.

Dwayne Bravo looks to clip the ball against the line but misses before he takes one from the last ball.

CSK in trouble on 40 for four, needing 100 runs from 12 overs for victory.
