Shaw clips Bishoo on the leg side and rushes for the first run but turns down the second as Pujara has to dive to make his crease after being sent back.

Shaw drives Keemo Paul on the up through the covers for two runs to race to his century from just 99 balls. He is the fourth youngest Test centurion and the 15th Indian to hit a century on debut.

An entertaining knock from the Mumbai youngster in his very first innings in Tests, hitting 15 fours in his 99-ball knock so far, and he looks set for much more on a flat first day wicket in Rajkot.
