WI 2-1 (3 ovs) vs India: 649-9d | Scorecard

Kraigg Brathwaite and Kieran Powell open the batting for West Indies, who have a huge task ahead of them.

Mohammed Shami starts off with the new ball. The first ball is on the stumps and jags in as Brathwaite is hit high on the pads.

He tries to clip the third ball through midwicket but fails to find the gap and does the same off the fifth.

The last ball slips down the leg side as Brathwaite glances it to fine leg for a single to get off the mark.

Umesh Yadav from the other end and he starts with one down the leg side. The second ball comes in as Brathwaite gets a thick inside to fine leg for one.

Powell fails to make most of a wide half-volley from Umesh as he drives but can't beat Jadeja in the covers. He gets an edge off the last ball as it dies down and Rahane at gully comes up with a diving stop to save some runs.

Shami makes the early breakthrough with the wicket of Brathwaite, who is beaten all ends up by a quick incoming delivery and is bowled for two.

Shai Hope offers no shot to the first three deliveries as Shami bowls it just outside off-stump before he blocks the last ball into the leg side.
