Kuldeep Yadav claimed his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests as India closed in on a comprehensive victory against the struggling West Indies, on Day 3 in Rajkot on Saturday.

Kuldeep picked up five for 57 to leave West Indies struggling on 185 for eight in their second innings after they were asked to follow on.

Ravichandran Ashwin bagged two wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja claimed one wicket.

Kieran Powell was the only West Indian to offer some resistance as he stroked a quickfire 83, with four sixes and eight fours.

It was a repeat of their first innings batting display, when they were bundled out for 181 to concede a huge 468-run first innings lead.
