West Indies' poor fielding lets them down yet again. Pant taps the ball to mid-off and attempts to steal a quick single as the fielder swoops in quickly and misses the stumps but also ends up giving away five overthrows.

Pant taking a few chances as he clips Holder uppishly through square leg for a four. His positive approach is also keeping the scoreboard ticking and releasing some pressure from Rahane on the other end.

Shannon Gabriel replaces Holder and he is unlucky not to have picked up a wicket in his comeback over. Pant (23) slashes hard at a wide delivery but substitute wicketkeeper Hamilton fails to take a simple catch to his left and ends up deflecting it over the slips for a four.

That could prove to be a costly drop for the West Indies as Pant could have telling impact on the game if he stays at the wicket for long.

A single each to Rahane and Pant as India go past the 200-run mark, in the 55th over.
