Shai Hope missed out on a deserved century but was able to steer West Indies to a fighting 283 for nine in their 50 overs, in the third ODI.

Jasprit Bumrah made a good comeback into the ODI team as he registered superb figures of four for 35 in 10 overs, while Kuldeep Yadav claimed two for 52.

Shai Hope rallied West Indies after a few early wickets as he stroked a brilliant 95 from 113 balls, hitting three sixes and six fours before he was bowled by Bumrah.

Shimron Hetmyer threatened with a quickfire 37 from 21 balls before Dhoni came up with a brilliant stumping to dismiss him off Kuldeep.

The lower order once again came good for the Windies with Jason Holder scoring 32, while Ashley Nurse stroked a quickfire 40 from 22 balls.

Earlier, India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl in the third ODI International in Pune on Saturday.

India made three changes as pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were included in place of Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav.

Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed made a comeback in place of left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja.
