Captain Virat Kohli hit his third century in a row but India were outclassed by 43 runs as West Indies levelled the five-match series 1-1, in the third ODI, in Pune on Saturday.

Kohli top scored with 107 but didn't get enough support from the other end as India finished on a disappointing 240 in 47.4 overs.

Part-time Marlon Samuels ended India's hopes with the wicket of Captain Kohli as he finished with three for 12.

For West Indies, Shai Hope starred with the bat with a fluent 95, while Ashley Nurse stroked a quickfire 40 to power the visitors 283 for nine after they were put into bat.

Jasprit Bumrah shone on his comeback with good figures of four for 35.

The next match will be played at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai on October 29.
