England 68-1 (28 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

It's lunch on Day 1 of the 5th Test and England have progressed slowly to get to 68 for 1.

Jadeja got the wicket of Jennings in the 24th over.

Cook and Moeen are at the crease and have done well to see off the bowling till the break.

Bumrah continues and he is coming around the wicket to Cook.

After a dot ball, Cook gets a single to mid-wicket.

Moeen now on strike, the ball is in the corridor of off-stump, he lets two deliveries go past to the keeper.

Bumrah then bowls a peach! A quicker one, angling in, he makes Moeen play but doesn't get a nick.

Moeen defends the last ball of the over and that is lunch!

Shami continues and starts with a short-pitched bouncer to Moeen, who is happy to let it go.

Shami then bowls another short ball, Moeen ducks, while Pant jumps to keep the ball from flying over for a boundary.

Shami, bowling around the wicket, keeps his lengths full, no trouble for Moeen.

Kohli has done the right thing here to bring Bumrah back into the attack in search of another wicket.

Meanwhile, the ball is coming nicely onto the bat now and runs will flow freely now.

Bumrah replaces Jadeja and comes back into the attack.

He starts with a gem! The ball moved late and Ali was beaten by the swing.'

Ali then gets a single to fine leg.

Bumrah then bowls it too straight and Cook easily plays it off his pads for a couple.

Cook then defends the next two balls as 3 come off the over.

Shami continues and gives just two off it.

Cook plays a lovely straight drive for a couple.
