Statistical highlights of Monday's fourth One-day International between India and Australia at Mohali.

- It was the 15th day-night match at the venue, the most staged at any Indian ground.

- The second wicket partnership of 64 runs between Shane Watson and Ricky Ponting is Australia's highest for the second wicket at the venue against any opponent, eclipsing the previous best of 50 runs against India, registered by the same pair on 29-10-2006.

- The fourth wicket partnership of 73 runs between Cameron White and Michael Hussey is also a record for Australia against any opponent at the venue, surpassing the previous best of 53 between Ponting and Mike Hussey against New Zealand on 01-11-2006 .

- Ponting's 52 off 59 balls is his third fifty in the ongoing series after his 74 at Vadodara and 59 at Delhi.

- Ponting's 52 is his 14th fifty-plus score (5 hundreds and 9 fifties) against India, in his 53rd match.

- Ponting's fifty in the match is his 73rd in his 328th one day international.

- Ponting, with his 73rd fifty, occupies fourth place jointly with Jacques Kallis of South Africa for most fifties scored in one-dayers. Sachin Tendulkar (91), Inzamam-ul Haq (83) and Rahul Dravid (82) are ahead of him.

- Ponting's fifty is his third consecutive fifty-plus score at the ground after his 58 against India on 29-10-2006 and 58 against New Zealand on 01-11-2006.

- Cameron White's 62 off 71 balls is his fourth fifty in his 45th one-day international and his second against India in his fifth match. He scored 51 off 91 balls at Vadodara on 25-10-2009.

- Mahendra Singh Dhoni, with his ninth stumping against Australia in 21 matches, stands second only to Rumesh Kaluwitharana of Sri Lanka (11 stumpings in 21 matches) for most stumpings by any wicketkeeper against Australia.

- Dhoni also overtook India's Chandrakant Pandit's record of eight stumpings against Australia.

- Australia's 250 in 49.2 overs is their lowest score recorded at the venue -- the previous lowest being 252-4 on 29-10-2006.

- Ashish's Nehra's 3-37 bettered the previous best bowling performance by an Indian against Australia at the venue -- Anil Kumble's 3-42 on 03-11-1996.

- The four run-outs in Australia's innings provided the third such instance for Australia against India and 12th instance overall by opponents against India.

- Sachin Tendulkar, in scoring 40 off 68 balls, extended his own record for most runs scored by any player at Mohali, bringing his aggregate to 281 runs in 6 matches.

- Ponting was run-out for the 29th time in his 328th match, nosing ahead of Allan Border's 28 run-outs. Among Australians, only Mark Waugh, with 32 run-outs, is ahead of him. However, it was his only second such dismissal against India in 53 innings.

- Tendulkar was dismissed LBW for the 37th time in his 434th match. Only Sanath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka (46 in 441 matches) and Inzamam-ul Haq of Pakistan (39 in 378 matches), are ahead of him in getting dismissed in this manner.

- Yuvraj Singh became the 22nd Indian player to be dismissed run-out on 10 or more occasions in his 242nd match.  Rahul Dravid leads the list with 39 run-outs in 335 matches.

- Shane Watson's 3-29 is his best bowling performance against India, surpassing his previous best of 2-70 at Baroda on 25-10-2009. His performance is also the best in the current series for Australia.

- Watson's 3-29 is also the best bowling performance against India by Australia at Mohali, eclipsing the previous best of 2-34 by Glenn McGrath on 29-10-2006.
