Sourav GangulyCaptain Sourav Ganguly [ Images ] led from the front to ensure his Kolkata Knight Riders [ Images ] side a comfortable 14-run win over Delhi Daredevils [ Images ] at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old hit his sixth IPL fifty to help his side reach a formidable 181 for three in their stipulated 20 overs.

Ganguly's 46-ball 56 was inclusive of eight fours and one six and he also put on 94 runs for the opening wicket with Chris Gayle [ Images ] (40 from 21 balls) which laid the foundation for the win.

He helped the Knight Riders get to the 100-run mark by the 11th over - the fastest the team had reached the mark.

However, Vettori, having smashed for 15 by Dada in his first over came back and atoned, dismissing Ganguly with a nicely looped delivery to rattle the latter's stumps.
